Environmental design and branding for fictional restaurant, Piatto Noodle Bar. Italian for “dish,” Piatto’s identity is based on three distinct noodle types: farfalle, cellantini, and ravioli. The designs of the noodles derived from various detailed drawings broken down into lights and dark shapes and eventually resulted in a full-bodied form imbued with energy and silliness. These shapes are featured on the restaurant façade, restroom doors, annual report cover, menu, and to-go bags.
